Zeiss photoelctric reflectance photometer elrepho instrOperating Instructions Photoelectric Reflectance Photometer ELREPHORemove the three screws (M 8><20) from the column and secure the latter to the base plate using these screws. Tighten the screws. The column is correctly positioned by the two pins (5 m 6x 25). Carefully place the measuring head on the column and lock the appropriate socket head cap screw (M 16x70) in position using the socket wrench supplied with the equipment. Do not yet tighten the socket head cap screw. Securely screw the sample holder onto the base plate. The ELREPHO operates on 220 V AC. 50 to 60 Hz. In case of other AC voltages. a transformer is needed. which can be supplied by us. If no earthing contact is available. connect the screw on the bottom of the power supply (adjacent to the rubber foot) to a water pipe. radiator. or equivalent. To correctly position the measuring aperture in relation to the sample holder. connect the power supply to the mains and the ELREPHO. By switching on the three toggle switches at the front of the power supply the lamps in the photometer sphere light up. The position of the measuring aperture in relation to the sample holder is seen through the inspection window. Measuring aperture and sample holder must be aligned to a common center.
